"Iron Goddess of Mercy" Oolong
Our featured coffee this month is not a coffee at all! Instead, this month we would like to draw your attention to our new tea offerings! Mocha Joe's has partnered with Rishi Tea to bring you some of the finest teas on earth. We were blown away their teas, and we think you will be too.
A specially baked tea made to order each spring and winter. This special grade of this tea is hand-harvested from the soft stem Wu-Yi tea bush cultivar that is descended from the original tea bushes introduced to Taiwan from Fujian in the 19th Century. Made according to the traditional Tae Guan Yin oxidation and bamboo coal baking techniques developed in China’s Fujian province, Iron Goddess of Mercy is a special treat for oolong tea lovers. This tea has a light golden-amber infusion with a smooth body and sweet finish, and an aroma reminiscent of baked grain and dried apricot.
